Cancellation Policy (Updated: March 05, 2024)
Acceptance of the Cancellation Policy
Set forth below are the Cancellation Policies issued by Sunergia Travel Group and applies to every client, and their guests, as set forth by the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise. By completing any Reservation, You, the client, and your guests expressly agrees to be bound by and accepts these terms as stated below and as may be amended from time to time. Such modifications and amendments to have the same force and effect as those set forth below. Failure to accept The acceptance of the "Cancellation Policy" in the time frame and manner determined by Sunergia Travel Group and/or it's entitles. The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise reserves the right to cancel Guest’s reservation without a refund at our discretion and where allowed by local, state, or federal law.
Changes and Modifications to our Cancellation Policy:
The Cancellation Policy of the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise are subject to change at any time. Such modifications and changes shall have the full force and effect as the cancellation policy issued at the time of reservation or completion of registration as applicable.
Conflict of Cancellation Policies:
Please note that all payment dates, reservation policies, cancellation policies, and reservation changes, set forth in the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise Terms & Conditions at the time of purchase supersede those policies set forth in our vendors polices at our discretion and where allowed by local, state, or federal law.
Right to Modify or Cancel:
- The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise may modify itineraries and schedules, change onboard entertainers and schedules, modify amenities, limit access to onboard venues, deny boarding, and/or delay or change departures or arrivals without any further obligation to Guest and any such change or modification, and doing so shall not be considered a Refund Event.
- The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise reserves the right to cancel a reservation at any time at its sole discretion, and/or to deny or refuse service to any person, that does not adhere to safety, security, and appropriate guest conduct guidelines and doing so shall not be considered a Refund Event.
- The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise reserves the right to cancel a reservation or event for any reason. Such cancellation shall be considered a Refund Event (see, Non-Refundable Payments – Refund Events).
Cancellation:
All cancellations will only be accepted in writing once the booking is completed. Email your cancellation request to cancellations@juneteenthfreedomcruise.com with your invoice number, full name, and travel date. Once your email has been received and acknowledge, you are required complete our cancellation request form that will be sent to you via email to complete the cancellation process. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, please call 614-604-7633 to ensure your information was received.
Cancellation Penalties:
In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements due to any reasons, thr Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/date we receive and acknowledge your cancellation in writing. Cancellation fees as below apply to air, land land cruise packages and/or services.
- 120 - 75 days prior to arrival – 25% penalty of the Cruise.
- 75 - 30 days prior to arrival – 75% penalty of the Cruise.
- 30 days or less - No Show–No Refund..
For any ground transportation or flight tickets involved, the refund will be applicable as per the advised cancellation policy at the time of booking.
Reservation Name Changes:
Name changes due to incorrect information being provided will incur a $250 per person charge plus any additional supplier fees. Please note that name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and will require re-booking of the reservation. Replacing a traveling guest with another traveling guest constitutes a cancellation, subject to cancellation penalties, and is not covered by this Reservation Name Changes policy. Changes or additions after departure are subject to local rates at the time of amendment and must be paid directly by the passenger to the service provider. There are no refunds for unused services.
Cancellation Fees:
The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise reserves the right to charge additional fees for returned payments, late payments, missed payments, canceled cards, charge-backs, credit card changes, invalid credit cards, and cancellations as a result of a Guest’s failure to comply with these Terms, and Conditions of Reservation.
Reinstatement of Reservations:
If your travel reservations have been canceled, and you notify us within 14 days that you want to reinstate your reservations, a service reinstatement fee of $100.00 USD will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance to apply for reconfirmation of services. All cancellations will only be accepted in writing once the booking is completed. If your travel reservations have been canceled, and you notify us within 14 days that you want to reinstate your reservations, a service reinstatement fee of $250 will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance to apply for reconfirmation of services. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within reinstatement within 14 days, the reinstatement of the booking thereafter will be at the current prevailing rate, plus $100.00 USD, please email us at reinstate@sunergiatravelgroup.com to ensure your reinstatement request information was received. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, please call (866) 786-3744 to ensure your information was received.
Cancellation Policy Subject to Change:
Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise reserves the right to change the cancellation policy as needed to comply with local, state, and federal laws.
Cancellations & Travel Insurance:
All payments made for a Reservation are non-refundable. By purchasing Travel Insurance, Guests can offset this risk. Additional details on Travel Insurance can be found under the TRAVEL INSURANCE tab below. All reservation change requests must be made by contacting our office at 1-866-786-3744 Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET. Changes made to an existing reservation within 120 days of the embarkation date are subject to a $150 manifest change fee.
Not Responsible for Acts of Third Parties:
The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise or its affiliates, parent companies, employees, shareholders, officers, and directors (collectively “The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise”) does not own the ship or properties or operate any entity that provides goods or services for your trip, including, for example, lodging facilities, transportation companies, local ground operators, guides, sightseeing companies, entertainment, food or drink service providers, equipment suppliers, etc. As a result, Guest agrees Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any person or entity, nor is Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise is responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any person or entity it does not own or control, nor for any act or inaction of any other third party not under its control.
Not Responsible for Guest Inability to Travel:
All guests are responsible for arriving at the travel location (including all airports, cruise ports, bus pick up locations, or anywhere we have designated you the guests need to be to commence their trip) in a timely manner and with all the documentation required for the reservation. The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise or its affiliates, parent companies, employees, shareholders, officers, and directors (collectively “The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise”) is not responsible for any loss, damages, costs, or expenses that the guest may incur and/or the guest’s inability to complete their reservation as outlined herein.
Force Majeure:
Further, the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise or its affiliates, parent companies, employees, shareholders, officers, and directors (collectively “The Sunergia Travel Group”) shall not be liable for, any loss or damage as a result of causes of any kind beyond the reasonable control of the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise or its affiliates, parent companies, employees, shareholders, officers, and directors (collectively “The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise”) (a “Force Majeure Event”), such as, but not limited to, strikes, lock-outs, stoppages of work or other labor difficulties, insurrection, riots, war, changes in laws and regulations and other acts or demands of civil, political or military authorities, freight embargoes, shipping restrictions, air travel delays or cancellations, car or truck shortages, inclement weather, accidents, fire, explosion, flood or unavoidable casualties, pandemics, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, etc.
Limitation of Liability in the Event of a Cancellation:
All Guests shall be liable for, any losses, Pass-Through Charges and any additional purchases made directly with the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise. All damages incurred by all guests to any vendor properties and/or cruise ships, whether indirect, incidental, special, or consequential, including attorney fees, and agree to not hold the Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise or its affiliates, parent companies, employees, shareholders, officers, and directors (collectively “The Sunergia Travel Group, and the Juneteenth Freedom Cruise”) responsible for their action during any part of the trip.
